Apple is expected to hold a significant event in October. While new Mac models are anticipated to be featured at the event, iPads may also make an appearance. According to reports, Apple has been working on updating the affordable iPad model, which has not been refreshed since 2022. Known as the entry-level model, the iPad could receive an update this year. Here are the expected features of the Apple iPad 11…
11th Generation iPad May Come with Higher Storage
Although the entry-level iPad models from Apple haven’t received much attention, the iPad 11 could stand out with its features. While official details about the device are not yet available, leaks have surfaced. It is expected to have the same 10.9-inch display and a Touch ID button as the iPad 10 from 2022, with little change in design.
Following the design shift to a similar appearance as the iPad Air in the 10th generation, Apple may use the same screen and design for the 11th generation. However, it is expected to be introduced in new colors. The current color options include silver, yellow, pink, and blue, but the specifics of the new colors remain unknown. Additionally, the USB-C port and USB-C Apple Pencil support are expected to continue.
Regarding the processor, the iPad 10 features the A14 processor, which is also used in the iPhone 12. In this context, the 11th generation iPad is expected to come with the A16 used in the iPhone 15. However, if Apple plans to offer Intelligence features, at least an A17 Pro or A18 processor would be necessary, which could increase costs. Furthermore, the Intelligence features would require more RAM, but it is believed that the iPad 11 may not have sufficient RAM.
Other expected features include the new tablet coming with Wi-Fi 6E and being offered with at least a 128GB storage option. The price of the 11th generation iPad is likely to be around $349, the same as the iPad 10.
